Wilkins was a tackling machine as a junior and he did that better than anybody in the area during his senior season. The Suburban North Conference co-defensive player of the year (along with Ritenour defensive lineman Edmond Ray) was credited with 173 tackles (134 solo), two sacks and a fumble recovery.
