After splitting time in goal as a sophomore last season, Chekadanov has come into his own this fall, leading the area with 12 shutouts for the 14-2-1 Colts. Chekadanov notched shutout No. 12 in a 3-0 win over Whitfield last week. Playing virtually every minute of every game, Chekadanov had eight shutouts during a recent 10-game win streak. He has a goals-against average of 0.35 and a .931 save percentage. Chekadanov also plays basketball.
