Politte, a junior-to-be at Seckman, leads the league in home runs (6) and is among the leaders in RBIs (16) and runs scored (14). In four games in the Pastime SLU Tournament, Politte went six for 13 with three home runs, six RBIs and six runs scored. He capped off the tourney by going three for four with two home runs and three RBIs and three runs. A designated hitter, first baseman and pitcher, Politte is 1-0 with a 2.33 ERA in two pitching appearances. He was the MVP of the Blazers 15U team last season, when he hit .487 with 34 RBIs.
