A freshman, Wysocki moved up from 106 pounds to 113 and won an individual title, helping Triad capture its fifth consecutive Mississippi Valley Conference title Saturday. An experienced youth-level wrestler, Wysocki was unbeaten in middle school and placed fifth in the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation state tournament last year. In other tournaments this season, Wysocki (38-2) won titles at Mascoutah and Quincy and placed third at the prestigious Granite City Holiday event.
