A 5-6 sophomore guard, Johnston had back-to-back 30-plus point games. He poured in 34 points, including six 3-pointers, in a 65-59 loss to St. Louis U. High and followed that with 35 points and 10 assists as the Rams downed Clayton 84-80. Johnston averages a team-high 16.3 points, 6.6 assists and 3 steals per game. A starter since Game 1 of his freshman season, Johnston was a second-team all-conference selection in the Suburban East last season.
