In three games last week, Perkins, a 6-3 sophomore forward, totaled 66 points and 21 rebounds. He had 19 points and four rebounds against Lafayette, 22 points and 10 rebounds vs. Washington and 25 points and seven rebounds vs. Howell North. For the season, Perkins is averaging a team-high 13.9 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. A three-sport athlete, Perkins started on the offensive line for Howell's final four football team last fall and was also a member of the Vikings' state championship baseball team as a backup catcher last spring.
