A sophomore, Hahn (46-3) picked up his second Class 1 championship in as many seasons, winning 13-6 over two-time finalist Grant Schottel of Mid-Buchanan for the title at 145 pounds. Hahn, who won at 135 as a freshman, dominated this year's event, racking up two pins and a major decision to reach the title match. Hahn was one of five champions for Whitfield, which won its third Class 1 crown in five seasons.
