St. Louis Express track team stays in fast lane

The leaders of the Florissant Track Club changed the name of the organization to the St. Louis Express about 15 years ago to, well, express the image of a regional organization rather than a local one.

JEFFERSON CITY • Mike Hester wasn't celebrating like he had hoped to when Hazelwood Central won its first state title in 23 years in 2010. That's because he got hurt earlier in the day and didn't play the role he wanted to play.
