Erika McCaster, Sr. • Belleville West

An Eastern Michigan recruit, McCaster is one of the more exciting players in the area. The 5-6 guard is a sparkplug on both ends of the court. Her 18.8 points a game accounted for 35 percent of the Maroons' scoring, and her 3.3 steals a game prove she doesn't take time off on defense.

Kelsey Jones, Sr. • Fort Zumwalt West

A 5-8 guard, Jones led West to its first trip to the final four last season, averaging 12.5 points, 2.5 assists and 1.7 steals. A versatile player, she can score inside and outside and has developed a reputation for making clutch plays. Like Brooks-Williams, Jones has committed to Morgan State.

A 6-0 forward headed to Southern Indiana, O'Keefe led Edwardsville to the Class 4A supersectionals last season. She will look to build on a season in which she averaged 13 points and 5.2 rebounds as the leader of a program that has averaged more than 30 wins a season the past four years.

A 6-1 forward who led Cor Jesu to the Class 5 quarterfinals, Riley was among the area leaders in rebounds (11.7) and blocks (2.8) per game. A good blend of size and athletic ability makes her a matchup problem offensively, as well, because she can score (12.1 ppg) or dish (1.46 assists).

A 6-0 center who was an unstoppable force last season, Vogt led the area in rebounds (14.3) and was among the leaders in points (21.7) and blocks (3.2). The only concern about her game was getting into foul trouble, which is attributed to her aggressiveness on the glass.
