The St. Louis Blues have re-signed defenseman Tyson Strachan, 25, who played in eight games with the Blues last season, recording two assists and four penalty minutes.
The deal is a one-year, two-way contract, according to Jeremy Rutherford. Finanical terms of the agreement have not yet been released.
Strachan (6-2, 215) also played 65 games with Peoria last season, collecting 26 points (five goals, 21 assists) along with 75 penalty minutes.
