Jets beat Red Wings in shootout

Devin Setoguchi and Andrew Ladd scored in the shootout to give the Winnipeg Jets a 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night.

Bryan Little and Zach Bogosian scored for Winnipeg in regulation. Ondrej Pavelec made 41 saves.



Sharks 3, Flames 2 • Brad Stuart scored 1:13 into overtime, and San Jose beat Calgary.

Sabres 3, Kings 2 • Cody Hodgson scored two goals, and Buffalo beat Los Angeles.

Islanders 3, Predators 1 • John Tavares, Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Kyle Okposo scored, and New York beat Nashville.

Devils 3, Rangers 2 • Dainius Zubrus netted the tiebreaking goal with 2:55 left as New Jersey beat New York.

Capitals 4, Blue Jackets 3 • Alex Ovechkin put in a rebound 1:34 into overtime, giving Washington a win over Columbus.

Hurricanes 2, Avalanche 1 • Jordan Staal and Patrick Dwyer each had a goal and an assist, lifting Carolina to a win.

Flyers 5, Senators 0 • Jakub Voracek scored twice and Steve Mason made 24 saves as Philadelphia shut out Ottawa.



Panthers 3, Ducks 2 • Brad Boyes scored the tiebreaking goal early in the third period, and Florida beat Anaheim.

Lightning 2, Canadiens 1 • Valtteri Filppula scored the only goal in the shootout, and Tampa Bay topped Montreal.
