The Blues have announced their roster for the 2010 NHL Prospects tournament in Traverse City, Mich., Sept 11-15.

Alex Pietrangelo and Ian Cole, two defensive prospects who will be vying for a spot on the NHL roster later next month, headline the list of players who will represent the Blues.

The NHL Prospects tournament features eight teams, but the Blues will play in a three-team round robin. They will face Tampa Bay on Sept. 11, Dallas on Sept. 12, Detroit on Sept. 14.

The Blues will hold a practice for their Traverse City squad before it departs for the tournament. The on-ice practice will be at 10 a.m. on Sept. 10 at the Ice Zone inside St. Louis Mills Mall in Hazelwood.

The entire roster includes:

Forwards: Cody Beach, Stefan Della Rovere, Chris DeSousa, Kory Falite, Stephen MacAulay, Nick MacNeil, Alexandre Mallet, Philip McRae, Anthony Nigro, Anthony Peluso, Mitchel Porowski, Josh Shalla, Tyler Shattock and Brett Sonne.

Defensemen: Ian Cole, Mark Cundari, Michael D'Orazio, Mark Isherwood, Alex Pietrangelo, Jan, Piskacek, Brett Ponich and David Shields.

Goalies: Jake Allen and Peter DiSalvo.
