The netminder got his fifth shutout and made three absolutely fabulous saves to make the one-goal lead stand up. At the same time, the Kings did not have a shot over the last fives minutes.
The Note opens the second half with their 22nd home win, best in the league. Now they head to Nashville for a Saturday night game at Bridgestone Arena. They hope to improve on a 8-10-3 road record.

D'Agostini pressed past a Kings defender along the boards, creating a 2-on-1 break. D'Agostini then passed to Langenbrunner, who one-timed it for his first goal in 11 games.
