Rangers run streak against Flyers to six
Artem Anisimov had a goal and two assists, Henrik Lundqvist made 21 saves and the host New York Rangers continued their recent success against the Philadelphia Flyers with a 5-2 victory on Sunday.
Marian Gaborik, Michael Del Zotto, Brandon Dubinsky and Ruslan Fedotenko also scored for Eastern Conference-leading New York, which has won six in a row against Philadelphia, including four games this season. It was Anisimov's first points in 18 games.
Brayden Schenn and Wayne Simmonds scored for the Flyers, who lost for the third time in four games.
Lundqvist's career-best shutout streak ended at 182 minutes, 37 seconds when Schenn scored in the second period.
Bruins 4, Capitals 1 • Tim Thomas made 35 saves, Milan Lucic and Brad Marchand scored first-period goals, and Tyler Seguin and Rich Peverley tallied in the third to lead Boston to a win on the road.
Marcus Johansson scored for Washington.
Devils 5, Penguins 2 • Ilya Kovalchuk had a goal and two assists, and host New Jersey extended its winning streak to four with a victory over Pittsburgh.
Anton Volchenkov, Dainius Zubrus, Zach Parise and David Clarkson also scored, and Martin Brodeur made 28 saves for the Devils.
Matt Niskanen and Evgeni Malkin scored for the Penguins.
Canadiens 3, Jets 0 • Carey Price made 23 saves, Tomas Plekanec had a goal and an assist, Max Pacioretty and Alexei Emelin also scored, and host Montreal ended a three-game losing streak.
