Henrik Zetterberg, Drew Miller and Darren Helm scored, and the Detroit Red Wings won their 23rd consecutive home game, breaking the NHL overall record with a 3-2 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Sunday.

Detroit, which broke the single-season record of 20 on Tuesday night, surpassed the 22 wins in a row the Boston Bruins had over two seasons more than eight decades ago.

Rangers 3, Blue Jackets 2 • Derek Stepan scored 22 seconds into overtime, and host New York defeated Columbus. Columbus captain Rick Nash got the Blue Jackets even at 2 with 1:33 left in regulation.

Predators 3, Stars 2 • Shea Weber scored on a power play with less than a second remaining in the first period, Pekka Rinne stopped 22 shots, and visiting Nashville defeated Dallas.

Wild 2, Bruins 0 • Niklas Backstrom made a career-high 48 saves for his fourth shutout of the season, and Matt Cullen and Chad Rau scored for host Minnesota.

Ducks 2, Panthers 0 • Teemu Selanne moved past Brendan Shanahan into sole possession of 12th place on the career goals list with 657 when he scored in the first period, and Jonas Hiller made 31 saves in visiting Anaheim's victory.

Sabres 6, Penguins 2 • Derek Roy scored twice and added an assist to help host Buffalo snap a four-game skid.

Devils 3, Canadiens 1 • Zach Parise, David Clarkson and Matt Taormina scored and Martin Brodeur made 21 saves to help visiting New Jersey defeat Montreal.

Jets 5, Avalanche 1 • Bryan Little scored twice and host Winnipeg defeated Colorado to move into a tie with Toronto for eighth place in the Eastern Conference.
