Wings' streak at home hits 15
Henrik Zetterberg scored the first of Detroit's three goals in the opening period and the Red Wings broke a franchise record with their 15th consecutive home victory, a 5-0 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Monday.
The Red Wings won 14 in a row at home in 1965.
Detroit's Jimmy Howard made 27 saves for his fifth shutout this season and NHL-high 27th victory.

Crosby to see a specialist • Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby will meet with chiropractic neurologist Dr. Ted Carrick this week because of lingering concussion-like symptoms, the team said.
Koivu out at least two weeks • The Minnesota Wild probably will be without center Mikko Koivu for at least two weeks because of an upper-body injury, coach Mike Yeo said.
Capitals' Green to have surgery • The Washington Capitals said defenseman Mike Green, who has played in only 10 games this season because of ankle and groin injuries, will have abdominal surgery and is expected to be sidelined another four to six weeks.
