The Detroit Red Wings earned a spot in the franchise's record books with their 14th straight win at home, with Todd Bertuzzi netting the winner at 4:21 in overtime for a 3-2 win over Chicago on Saturday. Detroit's home winning streak equals the team mark set in 1965.

Sharks 2, Blue Jackets 1 — Patrick Marleau scored off a rebound with 2:57 left as visiting San Jose extended its point streak to eight games at 6-0-2.
Islanders 4, Sabres 2 — Evgeni Nabokov made 23 saves and became the 26th NHL goalie with 300 wins after Michael Grabner scored the go-ahead goal for host New York.
Hurricanes 4, Bruins 2 — Jay Harrison scored the winning goal with 1:30 remaining as host Carolina beat Boston for the third time this season. Boston's David Krejci extended his point streak to 12 games with an assist.
Rangers 3, Maple Leafs 0 — Backup Martin Biron made 20 saves for the shutout as visiting New York bounced back from a loss that broke a five-game winning streak. Mike Rupp, Brian Boyle and Derek Stepan scored in the Rangers' 11th victory in 13 games.
Senators 3, Canadiens 2 — Daniel Alfredsson scored on Ottawa's third shootout attempt as the visiting Senators extended their winning streak to four. Craig Anderson was perfect in the shootout after making 33 saves in regulation and overtime.
Devils 2, Jets 1 — Kurtis Foster and Patrik Elias scored in a 2:58 span midway through the third period to lead visiting New Jersey.
