David Legwand capped Nashville's three-goal third period with the go-ahead score with 1:35 remaining to lead the Predators to a 3-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday.

Shea Weber and Jonathon Blum also scored for Nashville. Rookie Matt Calvert and Kris Russell scored for Columbus.

Nashville's victory extended the longest current winning streak by an NHL team against a visitor. The Predators have defeated the Blue Jackets in their past 16 trips to Music City.

Blackhawks 4, Coyotes 3 • Jonathan Toews scored twice in regulation and had the lone goal in the shootout to lead Chicago over Phoenix for the Blackhawks' 4th straight victory.

Marian Hossa also scored for Chicago.

Adrian Aucoin, Keith Yandle and Martin Hanzal scored in the 2nd for the Coyotes, who came back to tie it 3-all late in the period after trailing by 2 goals twice.

Lightning 2, Rangers 1 • Martin St. Louis had a goal and assist, and Vincent Lecavalier snapped a 3rd-period tie during a 2-man power play to lift Tampa Bay to a win over New York.

Thrashers 3, Maple Leafs 2 • Ron Hainsey scored from the edge of the left circle in overtime and Atlanta rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat Toronto and snap a 5-game winless streak.

Nikolai Kulemin and Phil Kessel scored 1st-period goals for Toronto.

Devils 2, Panthers 1 • David Clarkson and Brian Rolston scored goals and Martin Brodeur stopped 25 shots in his return from injury and New Jersey beat Florida.

Marty Reasoner scored for the Panthers.

Ducks 3, Avalanche 2 • Todd Marchant snapped a 70-game goal drought as Anaheim ended a 5-game losing streak.

Bruins 3, Oilers 2 • Rich Peverley scored the game-winner in the 2nd period as Boston beat Edmonton.

Blackhawks give Seabrook extension • Veteran defenseman Brent Seabrook agreed to a 5-year, $29 million contract extension with Chicago, which selected him with the 14th pick in the 2003 draft. The team had worked on the extension since October.
