Beans and rice, yes. But also some charm.
It had barely been a month since I'd crabbed in a review about the standard beans-and-rice accompaniment at Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants. Thus the menu note at Latitude 26 wasn't promising. It said that the dozen or so platos (entrees) on the menu were "served with charro beans and TexMex rice with ranchero (red) or tomatillo (green) sauce."
