Archie Comics is deciding whether Archie should marry Betty or Veronica, but the public already knows:

• NBC’s "Today" show poll: Betty 80.2%, Veronica 19.8%.

• Canada’s Globe and Mail poll: Betty 76%, Veronica 24%.

• N.Y. Daily News: Betty 45%, Veronica 11%, no one 44%.

• Washington Post: Betty 65%, Veronica 13%, no one 20%.

A song called "Fresh out the Oven" by an unknown artist billed as "Lola" was released on the Web and is getting a heavy marketing push that includes a website and Twitter account asking "Who is Lola?" It didn’t take long to figure out it is Jennifer Lopez, something her label confirmed, anonymously.

 A sparkling glove worn by Michael Jackson during the 1984 Victory Tour sold for $70,800 at an auction in Los Angeles by Profiles in History. A bullwhip swung by Harrison Ford in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" went for $56,050.

Singer Gladys Knight, 65, said she will to retire after her current tour.

Eighty-one percent of the respondents in a poll by Kevin C. Johnson at STLtoday.com/Blender said they were willing to put Chris Brown’s domestic abuse conviction in the past and consider
his new song, "I Can Transform Ya," which features Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz.

Will Wright created computer games The Sims, SimCity and Spore that have generated $1 billion in sales. Now he is working on something described as an Internet-connected, robotic, crowd-sourced, game-related toy that he will present at the New York Toy Fair in February. The buzz is huge.

Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy said he would do anything to tour with Blink-182, so they took him up on it: At a joint concert in New York City, Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus cut Wentz’s signature head of hair.
