The Tales of Hoffmann By Jacques Offenbach, this is the story of the writer Hoffmann, drowning his sorrows in a tavern, remembering his lost loves. One of the stars, soprano Ailyn Perez, portrays four very different characters. The gorgeous music includes the "Barcarolle," one of the most popular melodies ever written.
