![]() Katy Adkins (P-D) ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH
St. Louis Fashion Week brought in many folks sporting their best clothing from area stores. At the VIP party, we spotted Katy Adkins wearing a dress from a local designer. Tell us about your dress. "The dress is from TrashBiscuit, designed by A.J. Thouvenot and Ryan Coyne. I've been friends with them for two years, and they made this dress for me. I spent $200 on it." How often do you shop for clothing? "I shop a few times a week. I find great deals at vintage shops and have the best luck at Eve's Apple Vintage on Washington Avenue in downtown St. Louis. I also enjoy shopping at Forever 21, Bebe and I find European clothing at asos.com." What do you spend most of your money on? "Shoes and party dresses." What do you do in your spare time? "I'm a student at St. Louis University, and I enjoy horseback riding." What is your most expensive fashion purchase? "I own a L.A.M.B. bag by Gwen Stefani." I paid $695 for it at Saks Fifth Avenue." How old are some of your items in your wardrobe? "I have vintage winter coats and dresses from my grandma. And, I have 1970s fashion accessories and clothing that I purchased on eBay."
