Libraries Where: St. Louis region How much: Free With grocery stores and furniture shops getting into the storytelling business, libraries have stepped up their game. Today, they host movie nights, Guitar Hero competitions and holiday parties. 21. Missouri Botanical Garden Children's Garden Where: 4344 Shaw Boulevard How much: $3 for children, adults are free plus regular admission Oddly, the Children's Garden is short on garden but big on the stuff kids love like tree houses, climbing walls and caves.
