Deb Peterson's Biography
![]() Deborah Peterson (P-D) Deb Peterson came to work at the Post-Dispatch in 1985. Prior to that she worked at the Kansas City Star, during which time the staff of the newspaper won a Pulitzer Prize for coverage of the collapse of the Kansas City Hyatt Hotel skywalks. Deb was on an investigative team covering the story. And before that, she worked for the Associated Press in Denver and Springfield, Ill., where she covered the Illinois Legislature. As a matter of fact, Deb hasn't done much besides be a journalist, except raise three wonderful children. Oh, she also is a weekly visitor (Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.) on the McGraw Show on KTRS-AM.
