Lindenwood University: Free January term tuition for spring transfers

Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo., is offering free January Term tuition for students who transfer to the school for the spring semester. Traditionally, January Term, an intensive mini-session held during the winter break between semesters, is free only for students enrolled in the fall and spring semesters.

Recognizing that economic times are tough for many families, Lindenwood is extending free tuition for J-Term classes to spring transfers as well.

"J-Term is a great opportunity for students to get a head start on the semester by accruing some credits, and the best part is that it's free," said Joe Parisi, dean of undergraduate admissions. "We're pleased to be able to extend that offer to students who choose to transfer in for the spring semester."

Parisi said the university should have limited availability for residential students in the spring. Those who are interested should call Lindenwood's Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 636-949-4949.

Lindenwood, which was founded in 1827, is a dynamic liberal arts university with a full range of 120 majors, as well as 46 intercollegiate sports teams and a growing array of 70-plus campus organizations. The university prides itself on its student-oriented mission, which includes small class sizes and personal attention from the school's excellent faculty. Learn more at lindenwood.edu.
