Murray State University: Your World to Explore

When U.S. News & World Report released its 2010 edition of "America's Best Colleges," Murray State University was ranked among the top universities for the 19th consecutive year.

A great school that provides both academic excellence and affordability, the university also offers an aggressive financial aid program. In fact, students from Illinois and Missouri who choose Murray State University find themselves with unique opportunities.

The Regional Tuition Program is available in both states and can represent dramatic savings over the usual out-of-state tuition. By averaging the costs of several Illinois and Missouri schools, Murray establishes the regional rate. It makes the cost to attend Murray equal to what students from Illinois and Missouri would pay at home. Students in Illinois may also benefit from a gift to MSU of approximately $1 million from the late Jeff Clarke of Pecatonica, Ill., a MSU alumnus. The resulting Jeffrey J. and Sallie Clarke Endowed scholarship provides assistance to qualified Illinois students, whether they come to Murray directly from high school or transfer from another institution of higher education.

Murray offers a wide variety of academic choices, a top-notch faculty, a rich array of extracurricular activities and opportunities to study throughout the world. For more information, or to schedule a visit, call the recruitment office at 800-272-4MSU (4678) or visit enroll.murraystate.edu!
