ST. CHARLES COUNTY -- Sanchez T. Torello, 30, formerly of St. Peters, was found guilty Thursday of attempted forcible rape, felonious restraint and armed criminal action for an attack on his now ex-wife. Torello drove his wife around St. Charles County at gunpoint before attempting to rape her on Jan. 31, 2007. He faces 18 years to life in prison when he is sentenced Dec. 11.
