JEFFERSON COUNTY -- Jennifer D. Wolf, 29, of Piedmont, Mo., was killed and Justin Woods, 22, of Van Buren, Mo., sustained moderate injuries in a one-vehicle crash about 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the southbound lanes of Interstate 55, near Richardson Road, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol. Woods was driving a Ford Explorer that traveled off the right side of the highway and then overturned, the Highway Patrol said. Wolf, a passenger, was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
