Michael W. Prater, 33, of St. Charles, died from injuries he suffered in a three-vehicle crash Thursday night in Franklin County, authorities said.

About 10:40 p.m., Prater was on Highway 100 near Jones Lane when a car driven by Nicole A. Feldmann, 17, of Washington, Mo., crossed the centerlane and struck Prater's vehicle, the patrol said.

Prater's car spun around across the centerline and was struck by a pickup driven by Terry L. Robinson, 36, of Fenton.

Prater was pronounced dead Thursday night at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur.

Feldmann had minor injuries. Robinson had moderate injuries.
