ST. PETERS -- William J. Rufkahr, 35, of the 9000 block of Dunn Road in Hazelwood, was charged Thursday with first-degree robbery. Police say Rufkahr on Tuesday robbed a Walgreens at 530 Mid Rivers Mall Drive by passing to a clerk a note demanding money. Police say charges are pending against him in several other robberies in St. Louis County. He was jailed Thursday in lieu of $50,000 cash-only bail.
