CRESTWOOD: Suspect fleeing arrest runs into officers
ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH

Laura Lahr, 47, was charged with assaulting police officers after she ran into two officers Saturday while trying to flee an arrest on a robbery charge.

The officers were treated at a hospital for minor injuries and released.

St. Louis County police Sgt. Tim Ware said county and Crestwood officers went to a home in the 1400 block of Trelane Avenue while investigating a robbery that had occurred in Affton.

Ware said Lahr tried to flee in a car and struck the officers. She was arrested a short time later.

Ware said Lahr, who has a California address, was held Sunday in St. Louis County Jail. He said the robbery had occurred in the 11000 block of Golfcrest Drive. He declined to say what had been reported stolen.
