Red light cameras win round in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS -- A judge has denied a constitutional challenge to red-light enforcement cameras in St. Louis that was filed by another judge who received a ticket this spring. St. Louis Circuit Judge Robert Dierker appealed his ticket, arguing that the program violated his right to due process. On Friday, Ralph H. Jaynes, a visiting judge, denied, without comment, Dierker's motion to dismiss the case. No date has been set for a jury trial on whether Dierker must pay the $100 fine.
