In today's fast-paced world, finding a little extra time is a dream come true. With maintenance-free living at McBride & Son Homes’ Brandy Mill Condominiums in High Ridge, this dream can become a reality. Without exterior maintenance on the weekly to-do list, and a location close to dozens of shopping and dining opportunities -- many within walking distance -- residents will have plenty of time to enjoy family, friends and hobbies, as well as the community swimming pool, walking paths, and tennis and basketball courts. When complete, the community will feature 31 charming buildings, each consisting of eight 1,015-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bath condominiums from the Andover Series. Accessible, first-floor units and second-floor, vaulted units are available. Both feature an open floor plan with a split-bedroom design, in-unit laundry hookups, pre-wiring for media, and, located off the living room, a private patio or balcony with storage closet. The master-bedroom suite includes a walk-in closet and attached full bath. A window is in every major room, providing plenty of natural light and views of trees, common ground and amenities. “There are a couple different layouts to choose from to really make the space your own,” explained Clint Skibinski, project manager for McBride & Son Homes. For example, in the kitchen, a full pantry or extra cabinets above the raised breakfast bar can be incorporated into the design, while in either of the full bathrooms, a single-bowl, double-bowl or knee-space vanity is available, as well as a variety of shower and tub arrangements. The company includes a long list of standard features at Brandy Mill, and just as many optional features. Everything from cabinets to appliances to flooring can be customized to fit the homebuyer’s style and budget. To simplify the process, Skibinski said, “We packaged our most popular options and priced them accordingly to further add value to our homes -- and provide a significant savings to customers.” Such strategies continue to impress McBride & Son’s homebuyers. In fact, according to Skibinski, “McBride & Son Homes is still maintaining a 91 percent customer referral rating in Jefferson and St. Louis counties.” Prices at Brandy Mill start at $119,900, however, inventories ready for immediate occupancy are being offered at an even greater value. “We have very attractive pricing on completed units,” Skibinski said. Some start as low as $95,900 and include options such as 42-inch maple cabinets, vaulted ceilings and decorative plant shelves above the door. “We only have a couple units left that overlook the pool, as well as one first-floor unit and one second-floor unit that back to woods,” he said. The additional $150 monthly Homeowner’s Association fee covers water and sewer fees, trash and snow removal, building insurance, common ground maintenance, and upkeep of the community amenities. Those who purchase a home during the months of March and April will be entered in a drawing to receive a commercial-brand stainless steel gas barbecue grill. Gift cards to Lowe’s will be awarded to second and third place winners. To visit the community, take Highway 270 to Gravois (Highway 30) west. Go approximately 9 miles, then take a right on Caroline Drive into Dillon Shopping Plaza, to Brandy Mill on the left. Displays are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
