The long wait is over. Rockwood Homes is up and running with its newest community in the heart of West County: Arbor Valley. This weekend, the Ballwin community will celebrate its grand opening with one-weekend-only pricing, starting in the $240’s, and a variety of fun activities for the entire family. “We haven’t offered homes at this price in this area since 2003,” said Rockwood Homes’ General Manager Kevin Deptula, which is why, he said, this will, without a doubt, be the fastest-selling, single-family-home community since Rockwood’s Arbors at Magnolia Trace. “Just when you thought you couldn’t buy an affordable new home in West County anymore, Rockwood Homes comes through with Arbor Valley. You couldn’t ask for a better location or a better price for a new, move-up home.” Ideally located just off of Big Bend, Arbor Valley is close to shopping, highways, restaurants and family entertainment, as well as within walking distance to Oakbrook Elementary in the Parkway School District. “A lot of families are excited about the proximity to Oakbrook elementary where kids and parents can literally walk to school,” said Deptula. “You can’t beat that.” The small, move-up community will consist of 30 homesites in Phase I, many of which back to common ground adjacent to Castlewood State Park. All of the sites will offer walk-out basements at the entry level, and certain floor plans will accommodate a three-car garage. Once established, Arbor Valley will be well maintained with bountiful landscaping and mature trees. Rockwood Homes is offering seven distinct luxury floor plans from their Oakwood Series at Arbor Valley. The portfolio consists of two ranch models and five two stories with three to five bedrooms and approximately 1,500 to 3,000 square feet. The four-bedroom, 2.5-bath Moreau two-story and the three-bedroom, two-bath Weldon ranch are currently under construction and will be open for touring next month. “This weekend is the last opportunity to take advance of the special pre-construction pricing,” said Deptula. Prices will go up on Monday. “A special incentive will be announced at the subdivision opening morning,” Deptula said. In addition, those who attend the grand opening celebration can enjoy barbecue, face painting, a quintuple barber shop band, and music from 106.5 The Arch. “Don’t wait long to visit Arbor Valley, lots are going fast,” said Deptula. “See for yourself what Rockwood Homes has to offer at this one-of-a-kind community. These homes, at these prices, in this location, are certain to sell in a hurry.” To visit, take Highway 141 to Big Bend Road. Head west on Big Bend 1-1/4 miles just past Sulphur Springs Road and make a left onto Red Oak Plantation Drive. Follow the road through the subdivision to Arbor Valley. A sales trailer is located on site, and will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. To schedule an appointment, call Beverly at 314-565-0037 or visit Rockwood Homes on the web at www.rockwoodhomes.com to register.
