This is the point where it all comes together. The prestige of an address in the heart of Clayton, condominiums with the comfort of a truly elite residence, and a sense of community that evolves among those who share the experience. The point you realize where you truly belong. DeMun Pointe is the perfect location to really experience life. And now this life comes with special 4.5 percent fixed-rate, 30-year financing for the month of January. “We have had great sales since our grand opening in August of 2008,” said JoAnn Tucker, sales consultant at Demun Pointe. “It is definitely the best time to buy a home here.” The building’s elegance speaks for itself. The entry lobby is professionally finished in rich, natural materials and architecturally appealing lighting fixtures. The private, underground heated garage has an elevator and stair access with controlled-access entry system to garage and residences. The completed and affordably priced residential condominiums at DeMun Pointe are located within the DeMun neighborhood. This is a highly desirable and vibrant community that is conveniently located to the things you enjoy most in life. Here you can walk to a street corner cafe or ride your bike to Forest Park. DeMun Pointe is a place filled with an urban vibrancy that is attracting everyone from all professions and age groups. Located near St. Mary’s Medical Center, Washington University and Forest Park, DeMun Pointe has 27 residences in total with 11 on each of the first two floors and five rooftop penthouses. Prices range from $349,000 to $1,095,000, for units from 1,171 to 1,951 square feet to penthouses with well over 2,500 square feet. The condominiums are on the upper floors of a multi-use, mid-rise building. The seven different floor plans have two bedrooms and up to 2˝ baths. Finishes include 9- and 10-foot ceilings and vaulted ceilings per plan, walk-in closets, ceramic tile flooring in bath and laundry areas (each home has a laundry room), two-panel solid core doors, oversized base moldings, recessed lighting, smooth-finish walls, and office or den per plan, wiring for cable television and high-speed internet, granite counter tops with undermount sink, stainless steel Jenn-Aire appliances with built-in oven/microwave combo and five-burner gas cooktop, dishwasher, garbage disposal and 42-inch wood cabinets with under-cabinet lighting. There’s even eco-friendly bamboo wood flooring in the kitchen, dining room, living room and hallways. “Our standard features are very high-end and very green, like our bamboo flooring,” said Tucker. Each home has an outdoor terrace. A large portion of the roof not taken up by the penthouses and their spacious terraces is covered with vegetation. This “green” roof helps slow and filter rainwater and is designed to be self-irrigating, thus saving potable water. Even the wood used in construction of the condominiums is largely from sustainable sources. Using the latest technologies including a unique heat pump system, residents will enjoy energy savings of as much as 36 percent, Tucker said. “That’s very important to our homebuyers.” An additional benefit to being well-insulated, DeMun Pointe is quiet. You’d never know it was sitting alongside one of St. Louis’ most traveled streets. “We hired a sound engineer,” Tucker explained. And, she added, “there are 10 inches of concrete between floors, so you’ll never hear people walking and talking. Each residence will be very private.” Condominium fees are very reasonable compared to other newer condominiums in the area. “Most of our buyers really appreciate that,” said Tucker. Located across Clayton Road from St. Mary’s Medical Center, “the location is perfect,” said Tucker and within walking distance of restaurants like Jimmy’s on the Park and Kaldi’s coffee shop. “We have a great restaurant going in downstairs called My Daddy’s Cheesecake Bakery and Cafe,” Tucker said. “It will have outdoor seating and be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.” Also on the ground floor of the building is Snap, a 24-hour fitness center. Residents of DeMun Pointe receive a year’s membership in the club. The display is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily or by appointment. Call 314-256-1110 for more information.
