St. Charles McBride & Son celebrates grand opening of new offerings at Hollow Brook Villas

There's a not-to-be-missed opportunity this weekend for homebuyers who want the flexibility of new home construction with the at-home feel of an established community. This weekend, Sept. 12-13, McBride & Son Homes is celebrating the Grand Opening of three new offerings at Hollow Brook Villas, conveniently located off Highway 94 between I-70 and Route 364 (Page Avenue Extension) and starting at a very affordable $169,900.

"We are excited about being able to bring some of our most popular floor plans to Hollow Brook Villas, in both attached and detached homes" said Clint Skibinski, project manager for McBride & Son Homes and Vantage Homes. Specifically, Skibinski cited the flexible two-bedroom, two-bath Hawthorn, a McBride Arbor (attached) series ranch, as one of the company's most popular Villas.

"Because of its open, ranch floor plan, the Hawthorn is adaptable to just about anyone's lifestyle," he said.

Perfect for homeowners who love to entertain, the 1,600-square-foot Hawthorn offers a comfortable 10-foot by 12-foot living room as well as a spacious family room, generously measuring 15.5 feet by 17.5 feet. A well-appointed 11-foot by 11-foot kitchen with wrap-around cabinets sits between the family room and an 11-foot by 11-foot breakfast area. This interconnected, open floor plan creates a large, convenient entertaining space.

"Popular with homebuyers is the fact that all our kitchens offer abundant storage space, including a walk-in pantry," Skibinski.

To maximize privacy, the master and second bedrooms in the Hawthorn are located in the rear of the home. Optional features include bay windows in the breakfast area and master bedroom; a luxury master bath upgrade; conversion of the rear, second bedroom into a den; and conversion of the formal living room into a third bedroom.

With any of the new models, homebuyers will enjoy the striking curb-appeal of gracious brick and stone fronts and carriage-style garage doors. And, because the neighborhood is already well established, new homebuyers have immediate access to mature common grounds, residential sidewalks and a beautifully landscaped public gazebo.

In addition to the Hawthorn, McBride & Son Homes is proud to offer the one-and-a-half-story Walnut and the one-and-a-half-story Bradford.

"The Bradford is particularly popular with families," Skibinski said, noting that its family-friendly amenities include an expansive, open loft on the second floor and a separation of the master bedroom (on the first floor) and additional bedrooms upstairs.

Optional features for the Bradford include bay windows in the dining room and master bedroom; a luxury master bath upgrade; and one-and-a-half-story atrium ceilings in the living room.

"The Bradford is an ideal choice for busy families who want to enjoy a carefree, maintenance-free lifestyle," Skibinski said.

Maintenance-free living at Hollow Brook Villas means no more grass mowing, painting, landscaping, yard watering, gutter cleaning, or even snow shoveling. It's convenience at its best. And, located just minutes from Highway 70 and Route 364 (Page Avenue Extension), the community also offers easy access to all that St. Charles County has to offer—from the charm of Main Street to the action-packed events of the Family Arena to cultural events at the Foundry Art Centre. In true St. Louis fashion, Hollow Brook Villas homebuyers are just "20 minutes" from Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Maryland Heights, Mo., Lambert International Airport and dozens of other St. Louis attractions. Families will be pleased to know that Hollow Brook Villas is located in the award-winning Francis Howell School District.

Displays are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. More information can be obtained by calling 636-940-2362 or visiting www.mcbridehomes.com.

Getting there: From I-70, take Highway 94 going west about a mile. Immediately after passing the Freidens/Zumbehl Road intersection, enter the right lane and take the turn-off onto Old Highway 94; drive straight into Hollow Brook. From the Page Avenue Extension, take Highway 94, going east to Pralle Lane, turn left onto Pralle Lane, then an immediate right onto Old Highway 94. Hollow Brook will be on your left.
