The funds will go towards the installation of a drainage system and retaining wall, excavation below the foundation, and removal of several trees and bushes to stop flooding in the girls' home's basement. Boys Hope Girls Hope operates two homes in St. Louis, one for boys and one for girls. The organization's entire mission involves raising 14 young men and women in two homes from the age of 10 until they graduate from college by providing a safe and stable home that the children may use as a solid base for personal growth, college preparatory educational opportunities, academic support, social and independent living and college planning.

&Cutline;The HBA is a local trade association of nearly 800 member firms representing the residential construction industry. The Home Builders Charitable Foundation, the HBA's charitable arm, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing housing assistance to people or organizations with special shelter needs.
