Stage 7 At A Glance: Tour of Missouri
ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH

Sunday's stage: A course of five 10.6-mile laps, shortened from 14 miles, because of standing water and debris in Forest Park. Francesco Chicchi of the Italian Liquigas team edged Team Columbia's Mark Cavendish in 1 hour, 57 minutes, 6 seconds. Tyler Farrar of Garmin-Chipotle was third. Last year's stage winner here, Ivan Dominguez, was fourth, and Missouri native Brad Huff was fifth.

Yellow jersey: Christian VandeVelde of Garmin-Chipotle maintained an 18-second lead over Australian Michael Rogers of Columbia. Svein Tuft of Symmetrics finished third. Last year's overall winner, George Hincapie of Columbia, wound up fourth overall.
