Dale Anderson received the Immaculate Conception School teacher spotlight award for October in recognition of his dedicated service and outstanding leadership. Anderson, who earned his bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville teaches eighth-grade religion, physical education for first-eighth grades, is the athletic director and eighth-grade basketball coach.

Anderson likes teaching at ICS because of the Christian family atmosphere.

He spends his spare time golfing and fishing.

Nick Lamia of Edward Jones sponsors this program. Each teacher award recipient will be entered into a drawing for $1,000, provided by an anonymous donor, at the end of the school year.
