Students can apply for Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy

Illinois freshman can apply to the three-year Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, for the class of 2015. All students live on a college campus during the college-preparatory program. Tuition and most room and board expenses are provided by the state, but some fees are charged based on family income.

Admission applications must be completed by March 1, 2012. Students can contact their high school guidance couselor, IMSA's Office of Admissions at 1-800-500-4672 or go online to www3.imsa.edu/admissions/apply.

The internationally recognized Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy develops creative, ethical leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
