Collinsville High School senior J'Vaughn Williams (front center) signs with Division I Western Illinois University at a meeting with (front) his grandmother Elaine Crumble, mother Tammi Crumble-Belk, stepfather Erik Belk, (back) uncle Chris Crumble, Kahoks head football coach Mike Liljegren and Athletic Director Chris Kusnerick. Williams was a standout football athlete. He finished his Kahok career as the third leading passer in the school's history with 1,942 yards as well as 15 touchdown passes and 30 career tackles and 2 interceptions playing defense. He was named Second Team All-Southwestern Conference and Second Team All-Area. In his last season he passed for 1,386 yards with 10 touchdown passes.
