St. Paul's Lutheran School in Troy recently named students of the month for November and December.

Zachary Melcher was recently named student of the month for November. The kindergarten student was awarded because he strives to find peaceful solutions in the classroom and on the playground. He is the son of Barb and Kevin Melcher.

Cole Gierse was recently named the student of the month for December. He was awarded because of his patience in waiting for his turn and for sometimes letting his classmates go first (even at the playground). He is the son of Chris and Maya Gierse.

Both students received two magnets and $20.
