Granite City School District Superintendent Harry Briggs announced the 2010-2011 recipients of the Illinois Standardized Achievement Test and Prairie State Achievement Examination awards. Students were recognized at a November school board meeting.

Students in third to eighth grade were honored for high scores on either the math or reading portion of the ISAT. Students in those grades take the exam annually. 

The PSAE measures achievement of high school juniors in reading, mathematics and science. For the PSAE, students who scored in the 99th percentile for the specific subject area were recognized.  

The grade level represents the student’s placement during the 2010-2011 school year.
