The Madison County Home & Community Education group presented the Madison County 4-H Program with a twist on paper art. The Madison County members provided a six-session spin club opportunity for 14 youths ages 8-15. Each session met in the Farm Bureau Auditorium.
The program covered all the crafting, folding and cutting of paper to make works of art. There was a different art each session each night, which consisted of decoupage, paper snowflakes, iris paper folding, scrapbooking and origami. Each 4-H youngster took home an art creation.
Volunteers from the HCE group included Edna Head, Nancy Sakalowski and Joyce Cornwell.
