SUBMITTED PHOTO Director of Communications and Development for the Illinois Center for Autism Rachel Newsome (center) receives a donation from Rachel Davis and Mark Davis, community director for the Knights of Columbus. Mark Davis and other area Knights raised the funds during the Knight's annual MRLD Tootsie Roll Drive. The money collected was given to five area agencies that serve individuals with developmental disabilities. Other agencies that received donations were the Triad High School Special Education Department, Special Olympics of Southern Illinois, NAMI of Madison County and the Special Friends Chapter of the Victorious Missionaries.
