Collinsville woman charged with aggravated battery

Terisha Wallace, 18, of Collinsville, was charged Tuesday with one count of felony aggravated battery, according to a press release sent out by the Madison County Sheriff's Office. According to the release, the sheriff's office was dispatched to a Maryville home where they met the 13-year-old victim of the alleged attack. The deputies noted the victim had a swollen face and bruises. The victim told deputies that he was attacked at an address in the 200 block of South Wilson Heights Road by two people. Deputies located Wallace and a 16-year-old boy in separate locations in Maryville and Collinsville. Both were arrested and taken to the Madison County Jail. The case against the 16-year-old was referred to the Madison County State's Attorney's Office for formal review. Madison County Circuit Judge Richard Tognarelli signed the warrant for Wallace. Bond is set at $50,000.00. The names of minors are not made public.
