Edwardsville police arrest three on DUI charges

DUI: On Jan. 31, a 22-year-old resident of the Michael was arrested in the 200 block of Lincoln on the charge of driving under the influence.

• On Feb. 4, a 30-year-old resident of the 400 block of Parkside Commons Court, Collinsville, was arrested in the 2700 block of Illinois State Route 159 on the charge of driving under the influence.

• On Feb. 7, a 26-year-old resident of the 300 block of Village Drive, Glen Carbon, was arrested at Schwarz and Monroe on the charge of driving under the influence.

RETAIL THEFT: On Feb. 3, a 51-year-old resident of the 9000 block of Pickford, St. Louis, was arrested at Kohl's on the charge of retail theft.

THEFT: On Feb. 7, Lori A. Surgant, 51, of the 1000 block of Sextant Drive, Edwardsville, was arrested on the charge of felony theft over $500. Surgant stole more than $7,000 from the First National Bank of Staunton, Edwardsville, over a two-month period during her employment as a teller at the bank, according to the Sheriff's Department.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY: On Feb. 10, Robert J. Primas, 18, of the 3000 block of Sand Road, Edwardsville, was arrested on the charge of felony criminal damage to property.
