The Glen Carbon Heritage Museum recently opened its children’s Discovery Zone. The exhibit is a place for children to explore artifacts they can touch and hold. The exhibit will offer a “Make and Take” art project based on a displays currently at the museum. February’s exhibits is Valentine’s Day with a special hold-over exhibit from The War of 1812 from January. Kids can make a valentine and color a picture of Francis Scott Key, author of the National Anthem.
