Applications for seniors participating in the Illinois Circuit Breaker program are due Dec. 31. 

The program provides a property tax grant, license plate renewal discount and prescription drug relief to seniors 65 and older who meet income requirements and individuals with permanent disabilities. 

Interested individuals should complete the Circuit Breaker Form IL-1363, available at www.crbx.il.gov or by calling the Illinois Deparmtnet on Aging’s senior help line at 800-524-2459. Forms must be postmarked Dec. 31 to be eligible.
