A 'thank you' to an incumbent

Mrs. Helen Hawkins,

Thank you so much for the pre-election letter you sent in August 2011. It is not the norm hearing from a candidate, let alone an incumbent, and was a pleasure. I must say that your outspoken manner in defense of your constituents is truly admirable. That being said, I must admit that I am not a person to continue to re-elect incumbents. For it always seems to be another outlet for the elected to manipulate the system to benefit their end gaols. You my dear would be the exception to my rule. You continue to fight for us little people, so that the machine doesn't use us as a stepping stone, to acquire their self centered gaols. Good luck and God bless.
